My Boys Turning into Men

Initially, you’re probably thinking “Dah”….but it’s really a whole other fascinating thing I get to be apart of!

I literally am watching them turn into men right before my eyes!

Every book I’ve read is coming to life in the most pure form, because they are freshly starting “manhood”

Michael: Where’s Nicholas?

Me: I took him to a girl’s house to do homework

Michael: What!? He has a girlfriend?! Just tell me right now if he has a girlfriend?

Me: *Laughing*

Michael: Wait!? Who is it?!

Me: Her name is _____ . She looks like _____.

Michael: oh! I know who that is!! I’ve seen them at school! I knew it looked suspicious!

Me: *Laughing *

Michael: Man…he’s gonna rub it in so hard if he gets his first kiss before me!!! This sucks!!!

Me: What!!??

Michael: Man…he’s gonna get a girlfriend first…this is horrible!

Me: omg!

Michael: I totally had one too! Now I gotta go out & get a 10! Damn!! This sucks!

Me: You had one ?

Michael: Yeah….you know that day you told me I was smiling a lot & asked me?

Me: Yeah

Michael: You were right. Now I’ve just given too much information. I’ve said too much! Why did I do that!? I mean I trust you…but omg!!

Me: What!???

Michael: Now you have the key to the safe & you can rob me.

Me: Huh?

Michael: You’ll be able to go buy cars, handbags, shoes, houses….you could just take it all & give it to some puppy foundation or something!

Me: omg!!! Michael!!! I’m seriously about to pee my pants now.

Michael: You could seriously hurt me with this kind of information!!

Me: okay. We don’t have to talk about it.

Michael: okay. Okay. Fine. I’ll tell you. I can’t believe I’m giving you ALL my money right now!! Okay so…..

Michael went on to tell me some personal stuff. I have the keys to the vault & all the knowledge mostly because I just let him be & rant. He’s also always proud of himself if he keeps me laughing for an extended period of time.

Because the boys shared some really vulnerable stuff with me tonight, I know they trust me. And for men….the word “trust” is almost completely interchangeable with “love”. I’ll never take what they did today for granted.
